As a US citizen overseas, Tello is very convenient on my trips home. Easy to set up, inexpensive, good service. My one complaint is that I wished they used normal numbers with local area codes. The numbers I've received—two so far—read like a business or a scam number, in addition to having a random area code. This is in comparison to Tracfone, which I used previously and does offer local phone numbers. I'm hoping this will change, since Tello offers the ability to park a number.

I've been very happy with tello. very inexpensive and works as well as any other service I've had. When I updated the app today a screen pops up and says "help us improve your experience ". The problem is there's no way to remove this and you cannot access the app now. Please fix soon and I'll give tello five stars. they fixed the problem with the last update. works great now

Can't log on using phone number and password. When requesting one time password it does allow me to log on. After entering number to call then hitting the dail button it flashes to the calling screen and quickly goes back to the keypad screen, that's all it will do. It never calls a number. Update: I see they updated the app. Still doesn't work. Won't make a call. Useless.
