About this app

BLE Analyzer is a fully-offline Bluetooth Low Energy scanner and device inspector for engineers, repair technicians, IoT developers, and anyone who needs to see what's broadcasting around them. Built without the INTERNET permission — this app physically cannot send your data anywhere because it has no way to.

EVERY ADVERTISEMENT, ONE LIST

Live discovery of Bluetooth Low Energy advertisements plus classic Bluetooth peripherals. The home screen lists your paired devices, your currently-connected devices, and every nearby BLE advertisement in range — with name, MAC address, RSSI in -dBm, and device class. Tap any row to copy the MAC to your clipboard and look up the manufacturer.

OFFLINE MAC VENDOR LOOKUP

Tap any device to identify the manufacturer instantly from a bundled IEEE OUI (Organizationally Unique Identifier) database. 287 top vendors ship with the app — zero network calls, zero round-trips. Paste any MAC from any source (colons, dashes, or no separators) to look it up manually.

• Live adapter state with one-tap scan start / stop
• Connected count + connection state for every paired device
• Randomized vs public BLE address detection
• Device class recognition (phone, audio, peripheral, etc.)
• Sorted by signal strength so the closest device floats to the top
• Search any MAC — even MACs from outside Bluetooth (any 48-bit address resolves)

NO INTERNET PERMISSION

The app does not request the INTERNET permission. It cannot phone home, cannot send your scan list anywhere, cannot fetch ads, and cannot fail because of a server outage. Everything happens on your device, in real time, fully offline.

PRIVACY-FIRST, FULLY ON-DEVICE

No accounts, no telemetry, no analytics SDK, no cloud sync, no crash reporting in this release. Bluetooth permissions are used live to scan and connect — the data never leaves the phone.

PERMISSIONS REQUESTED

• Precise location (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION) — required by Android for Bluetooth LE scanning. Never transmitted off the device.
• Bluetooth connect (BLUETOOTH_CONNECT) — required to enumerate paired and connected devices.
• Bluetooth scan (BLUETOOTH_SCAN) — required to discover nearby BLE advertisements.
