About this app

5G Analyzer is a professional cellular signal tool for engineers, drive-testers, dead-zone hunters, and anyone curious about what their phone radio is actually doing. Read every signal your modem reports — carrier, network type, signal strength, serving cell, neighbour cells, SIM details — and watch it all update live.

LIVE CELL INTELLIGENCE

The home screen shows your serving cell as the headline: carrier name (operator + MCC/MNC), network generation (5G NSA, 5G SA, LTE, etc.), RSRP in -dBm, RSRQ, SINR, band, EARFCN, cell ID, PCI, TAC, PLMN. Every value is read directly from the Android TelephonyManager APIs — no estimates, no fudging.

CARRIER AGGREGATION + NEIGHBOURS

See which secondary cells your phone has aggregated to alongside the primary serving cell. Browse the full list of neighbour cells the OS exposes — useful for understanding what your phone might roam to next as you move.

DUAL-SIM AWARENESS

Both SIMs are read separately. See which SIM is on which carrier, which one carries data, the active data path, and signal info for each subscription.

PROFESSIONAL TOOLBOX

• Speed test — download / upload / ping over the active data path with active-transport detection (Wi-Fi / Cellular / Ethernet)
• Cellular coverage heatmap — walk or drive an area while logging RSRP against GPS, then export a JSON heatmap for repeatable comparisons

PRIVACY-FIRST, FULLY ON-DEVICE

Every reading — carrier, cell ID, signal strength, location — stays on your phone. There are no accounts, no telemetry, no analytics SDK, no cloud sync, and no crash reporting in this release. The app uses your location for cell-tagging only; that location is read live and never transmitted off the device.

PERMISSIONS REQUESTED

• Precise location (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION) — required to tag cell-info readings with your physical location for the coverage heatmap. Never transmitted off the device.
• Phone state (READ_PHONE_STATE / READ_BASIC_PHONE_STATE) — required to read carrier name, signal strength, cell info, and SIM details. Used live; nothing is uploaded or shared.
• Internet — used only when you explicitly tap "Speed test". All cellular analysis works fully offline.
