About this app

Step inside an old town hall's clock tower on Christmas Eve and look out through its great glass clock face. Far below, the snowy market square glows: a tall Christmas tree in golden lights, wooden stalls, a skating rink and a little carousel, with the moon above the rooftops.

A classic analog face
- Gilded Roman numerals on the glass, or Arabic figures, or gilded studs if you prefer, and a ring of sixty small panes for the minutes.
- Ornate gilded hands with a snowflake in the hour hand, turning over brass clockwork gears, one with snowflake spokes.
- The moon shows its real phase, and the day and date sit in gold under XII.

What moves
- Each minute the hand steps on with a small bounce, the gears turn, the square's lights and the garland twinkle, and a flurry of snow drifts across the view.
- On the hour the clock strikes: a ring of warm light runs across the glass at every stroke, the great bell swings, and then Santa's sleigh crosses the moon, Rudolph's nose glowing.
- Every quarter hour frost creeps across the glass and melts away.
- Tap the bell to ring it whenever you like.
- On Christmas Eve, from 6 pm, Santa flies every quarter hour, and at midnight golden sparkles fall over the square.
- In always-on mode the face turns dark: the panes, the numerals, the hands, the date, your steps and your battery, to save power.

Make it yours
- Numerals: Roman, Arabic or gilded studs.
- Bell on waking: the bell swings each time you raise your wrist, or only on the hour and on a tap.
- Snowfall: on by default; switch it off to save a little battery.
- Three complications on the glass: steps, unread notifications and battery by default. Choose other data for any of them in the watch face editor.
