Build a small routine for the plants you care about.
LeafRoutine keeps your plant list, chosen photos and care journal on your phone. Add a plant, choose a watering check interval and optionally set a feeding check interval. Editable reference examples for common houseplants help you get started; change them to fit your plant, light, soil, season and home.
YOUR PLANTS AT A GLANCE
See plants due for a check, open each plant's details and keep a personal photo. Import photos through the Android document picker without granting broad photo-library or camera access.
RECORD REAL CARE
Log watering and feeding separately with optional notes. Each action updates its own schedule. View immutable care snapshots in History, even after a plant is removed. Deleting journal entries does not rewind a plant's care dates.
OPTIONAL DAILY REMINDERS
Choose a daily 24-hour reminder time and enable local notifications. LeafRoutine checks whether plants are due and posts at most one reminder per local day. Android notification permission, Do Not Disturb, battery restrictions and force-stopping can delay, hide or prevent reminders. These are approximate check reminders, not exact alarms. Fertilizing can be switched off for each plant.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account, backend, advertising or analytics. The app does not upload plants, photos, notes or identifiers. Its local database is excluded from app backup and transfer. Removing the app or clearing its data deletes local records; there is no cloud restoration or export in this version. There is no search, plant identification or camera diagnosis.
CLEAR CONTROL
Confirm before deleting plants, deleting or clearing journal entries, or clearing temporary cache. Cached files are separate from your saved plants and journal. Reference intervals are illustrative prompts to inspect your plants, not automatic instructions to water or feed. Always check the soil and your plant's needs before taking action.
English app interface. Android system pickers and settings use your phone's language.
Plan plant care, remember watering, and keep a private offline care journal.
