TextForge is an offline text processing workspace for careful, mechanical text cleanup.
Use it to paste or type text, preview changes before applying them, and keep the original content intact until you choose to replace it. The editor supports up to 50,000 characters and shows live statistics for characters, non-space characters, words, lines, non-empty lines, and duplicate lines.
Cleanup tools can trim outer spaces, collapse repeated spaces, remove empty lines, and normalize line breaks. Line tools can deduplicate text with clear options, sort lines by text or length, shuffle lines, add line numbers, or remove them. Format tools can change case, convert to title case or sentence case, and add custom prefixes or suffixes to each line.
You can build multi-step batch flows, save them as reusable presets, and review saved presets later. The app also keeps local processing records with the original text, the applied flow, the result, and the last modified time. Undo and redo help you move through recent edits one step at a time.
Settings let you adjust theme, layout, font scale, default operation choice, and editor history. A guide page explains each tool, and the privacy notice confirms that text is processed locally on the device.
TextForge is designed for predictable, local-first text cleanup without accounts, cloud sync, or required network access.
