Things you can do:

• Plan a journey between any two stations in the UK
• Save a regular commute once, for easy reference on the days of travel
• Watch live times, platforms and disruption while you are on your way
• See where you change trains, and whether you have enough time to make it

On privacy, the app keeps things simple. There are no adverts and nothing follows you around. You do not need an account to start, and usage data stays off unless you decide to switch it on. Sign in to save your journeys between devices.

The live and timetabled information comes from National Rail's Darwin service. Calling Points covers National Rail trains in England, Scotland and Wales.
