HEALTH CONNECT
Thalos Fitness Coach can read your body-weight, blood-glucose, heart rate, steps, sleep, and active-calorie entries from Android Health Connect (read-only) so they appear in your Thalos data dashboard alongside your Polar sensor recordings, meal logs, and training history.
• Body weight: most users record weight in a smart-scale app. Reading weight from Health Connect means you do not have to enter the same value twice — your weight trend simply appears in Thalos next to your training data.
• Blood glucose: values from your continuous glucose monitor or logging app appear next to your meals and training in Thalos so you can review how meals and training relate to glucose readings in one place.
• Heart rate: values from your watch, fitness tracker, or other sensors appear alongside your Polar sensor recordings, giving you a fuller picture of cardiovascular activity across devices.
• Steps: daily step counts from your phone or watch appear alongside your training sessions so you can see how baseline movement complements your sensor-tracked workouts.
• Sleep: rest data from your watch or tracker appears alongside your training and recovery so you can see how sleep relates to your training load and physiological metrics.
• Active calories burned: energy expenditure logged by your watch, fitness tracker, or other apps appears alongside your training sessions, giving you a daily activity total that includes movement outside of Polar sensor sessions.
Before granting access, the app shows a dedicated rationale screen (Settings → Health Connect → "Why does Thalos need this?") explaining what is read, why, and what we do not do. We do not write to Health Connect, do not modify or delete your records, and do not share your Health Connect data with third parties or use it for advertising. You can revoke access at any time from Health Connect or your device settings.
