Pole Lap is a race weekend companion for Formula 1 fans on Android. Every session of the season at your phone's local time, with the clock changes handled, a heads-up before each one, results, standings and a countdown on your home screen. There is no account to create, nothing to sign in to, and nothing gets spoiled unless you ask.
THE WHOLE WEEKEND IN YOUR TIME ZONE
• Practice, sprint qualifying, sprint, qualifying and race, grouped by day in your own time zone
• Daylight saving done right: when the clocks change between Saturday and Sunday, both start times are still correct
• Sprint weekends labeled; cancelled and postponed sessions clearly marked
• This season and last season, round by round
HEADS-UPS THAT ACTUALLY REACH YOU
• 5, 15, 30 or 60 minutes before each session you pick: race, qualifying, sprint or practice
• Tap the alert and that session opens, nothing in the way
• An alert never tells you who won
RESULTS AND STANDINGS AT NO COST
• Results of every session once it's over: usually within an hour, a few hours for the race
• Practice, qualifying, sprint and race, with pit stops and fastest laps
• Qualifying merged from its three parts, with who dropped out where
• Starting grid, pit stop list and fastest laps
• Driver and constructor standings, plus driver and circuit profiles
• Your driver and your team highlighted in every table
• No signal? You get the last saved data and how old it is
SPOILER-FREE MODE
• Watching on delay? Results stay hidden behind a Show button, the standings too
• Revealing a race also reveals the earlier sessions of that weekend
A HOME SCREEN WIDGET THAT KEEPS UP
• The next session with its countdown, at your local time
• It rolls over to the following session on its own, even if the app stays closed
• It never shows a result
FIVE START LIGHTS
• On the home tab, five lights switch on as the next session approaches, and go out when it starts
PREMIUM, WITH A 7-DAY TRIAL
• Try the yearly or the monthly plan free for 7 days, or pay once for lifetime access with nothing to renew
• If you cancel from Google Play before the trial ends, you pay nothing
• No ads
• Session analysis: interval to the car ahead, gap to the teammate, places gained from the grid, the qualifying cut line and the gap on fastest laps
• Pit stops in depth: the 10 quickest stops, teams ranked by their median pit time and every driver's total time in the pit lane
• Title math: who can still win, how many points are left and when the championship could be settled
