About this app

Disploy turns any Android TV into a professional digital signage screen that you control from anywhere.

Install the app and your screen displays a pairing code. Enter that code once in your Disploy account, and the TV is linked for good — it fetches its playlist, begins playback, and keeps itself up to date automatically. No keyboard, no mouse, no on-site visits. Everything after pairing is managed remotely from the Disploy web dashboard.

MULTI-ZONE LAYOUTS
Split the screen into zones and run different content in each simultaneously: a video on the left, a live web dashboard in the corner, a scrolling ticker along the bottom. Each zone runs its own independent playlist and schedule. Layouts are composed in the dashboard — the TV simply renders what you design.

VIDEO WALLS AND SCREEN GROUPS
Group several TVs together and Disploy synchronises their playback, so content starts together and stays in step across the entire wall.

SCHEDULING THAT RUNS ITSELF
- Operating hours — the screen wakes and blanks itself at set times, every day of the week
- Content schedules — date and time windows decide which assets are eligible to play
- Event schedules — swap in campaign or event-specific content for a defined period
Everything is time-driven and unattended. Once a schedule is saved, the TV follows it without anyone touching the device.

LIVE UPDATES, NO REBOOTS
Disploy maintains a persistent connection to your account. Change a playlist, swap an image or edit a layout, and the screen picks it up within seconds — no restart, no re-pairing, no waiting for a sync window. Video files are cached on the device so repeated content plays instantly and loops smoothly, while upcoming media is prefetched in the background.

REMOTE MONITORING
See exactly what each screen is showing. Disploy reports device status to the dashboard and can capture a live snapshot on request, so you can confirm from your desk that a distant site is playing the right campaign. Playback is logged per asset for reporting.

BUILT FOR REAL-WORLD HARDWARE
Signage often runs on whatever hardware a site could afford. Disploy is tuned for exactly that: low-RAM panels, older Android TV builds and limited hardware decoders. Video decoding is budgeted so multiple zones share the panel's capability rather than fighting for it, codecs are matched to what the device can actually play, and the renderer recovers on its own from GPU and web-view failures. After a power cut, the app restarts straight into playback, so an unattended screen comes back by itself.

ORIENTATION AND FIT
Portrait or landscape, with per-asset rotation and fit control — fill, contain or stretch — so vertical totems and menu boards render correctly without re-encoding your files.

DESIGNED FOR UNATTENDED OPERATION
No launcher clutter and nothing to tap. The player owns the screen, stays awake, keeps its connection alive, retries quietly through network failures, and reports issues back to the operator. A screen removed from your account returns to the pairing view automatically, ready to be assigned elsewhere.

WHERE IT'S USED
Retail storefronts, restaurant and café menu boards, hotel and building lobbies, corporate reception and internal communications, showrooms, clinics and waiting rooms, gyms, schools, and transport and wayfinding displays.

A Disploy account is required. The TV acts as the player; all content, layouts and schedules are managed from your online dashboard.
