Study for your written driving theory test at your own pace, wherever you are.
MockRoad turns theory revision into something you can do in ten spare minutes — on the bus, in a waiting room, or before bed. Every question, explanation, and road sign is stored inside the app, so the whole thing works with no internet connection and no account.
8,529 practice questions
Questions are grouped into the four areas theory tests are built around: road signs, right of way, safe driving, and parking and turns. Every question comes with a written explanation of why the correct answer is correct, so a wrong answer teaches you something instead of just costing you a mark. Each one is labelled easy, medium, or hard.
Coverage, stated honestly
MockRoad covers 167 countries. Of the 271 regions you can select, 171 have their own dedicated question set. For the remaining regions we have not finished writing local content yet, so the app shows that country's general question set instead — and it tells you on screen when it is doing so, every time, on the home screen and in practice. You always know whether you are studying material written for your region or broader national material.
Mock exams matched to your region
The mock exam uses your region's real test length, pass mark, and time limit, then gives you a clear pass or fail verdict and tells you how many more correct answers you needed. Where a region does not yet have enough questions to fill a full-length exam, MockRoad runs a shorter one and scales the pass mark to the same ratio, so the result still means something. Review every question you got wrong straight after submitting, then retake without leaving the screen.
Road signs
Browse the sign library with a live search across names, categories, and meanings. Then take the sign quiz: you are shown a sign and pick its correct meaning from four options, with a score at the end of each round. Your best score is saved.
Track what is actually working
A readiness score based on your real answer history, not a guess. Accuracy broken down by category so you can see which topic is dragging you down. A study streak to keep you honest. Bookmark tricky questions and come back to them, or filter straight to the ones you have previously answered incorrectly.
Parking practice
A hands-on 2.5D parking mode with six levels covering bay parking and precision stopping. Steer, accelerate, brake, and reverse with on-screen controls, watch the minimap, and earn stars for clean, quick parking. Left or right-hand control layouts are both supported.
Built to stay out of your way
No sign-up, no email address, no password. Your answers, bookmarks, and progress stay on your device and are never uploaded — you can wipe them all from Settings whenever you like. Light and dark themes follow your system setting. MockRoad shows a small number of non-personalized ads to keep the app free; there are no in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Important
MockRoad is an independent study aid. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any driver licensing authority, motor vehicle department, or government body in any country.
Practice questions are written from general driving-theory knowledge and are being progressively verified against official sources. Core facts such as speed limits, alcohol limits, and driving side are checked against public reference sources. Rules change, and they vary by region. Always confirm with your official handbook or licensing authority before your real test. Passing a mock exam here is practice, not a prediction of your actual result.
Good luck with your test.
