Little conversations like this fill a child’s day. Their First Conversations lets your child hear them, wait for their turn, and answer.

Each scene is a short spoken exchange between your child and Mom, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa, a teacher or a friend. The app speaks the other person’s line, then pauses while a glowing bubble shows it’s your child’s turn. Then it speaks your child’s line too, so they hear it even if they just listen. Need longer? Tap the glowing bubble for more time.

Hello & Goodbye, Mealtime, Playtime, Feelings, Getting Ready, Bedtime, and Out & About. Every scene has its own gouache-style painting.

LITTLE KID AND BIG KID
• Little Kid, for toddlers: one short line each.
• Big Kid, for preschoolers: longer lines and more turns.
Choose on home or any situation page. You can switch languages there too.

ENGLISH, SPANISH AND KOREAN
Hear every scene in any of the three, in native voices. The app’s text switches too. In Spanish and Korean, the English sits under each line, so you can follow along as you learn together.

• Tap any line to hear just that line.
• Play all runs a whole situation, then stops.
• A new scene waits on the home screen each day, and a bedtime one in the evening.

• No ads, purchases, subscriptions, accounts or scores.
• Everything is built in, so it works offline.
• No analytics or tracking. The app remembers only the language and Little Kid or Big Kid, on your device.
• A grown-ups area, opened with a two-second hold, has our website, support, privacy policy and a link to our app Their First Words.
