Their First Reading is a reading workbook that talks. A parent and child open it together: the left page tells the parent what to do, the right page shows the child the letters and words, and a voice says sounds and words when they are tapped.

142 short English phonics lessons, one sound at a time, from m, a, s and t to long vowels, word endings and longer words. Each lesson has a short practice the child can do alone and, from Lesson 2, a reading page you read together.

Blend sounds, spell words with on-screen letter tiles, and read words and sentences using what has been taught.
