Climate normals: NOAA National Centers for Environmental Information

Flood zones and disaster history: FEMA, Federal Emergency Management Agency

School ratings: GreatSchools, a private nonprofit organization
https://www.greatschools.org

Crime and property tax figures are also compiled from the published statistics of state agencies, such as state criminal justice agencies and state tax authorities. Where town-level property tax data is not available, ThemeTown shows a state average compiled from published non-government research.
