Counting fewer folds than you expected? Android saves battery by closing apps that run in the background, and some brands, Samsung in particular, do it aggressively. Ratings and reviews

Wildly inaccurate. In the beginning, this app seemed fairly correct. But lately, I have my phone unfolded and on a stand on my desk. I watch the widget as it keeps counting up. I haven't folded my phone since I unfolded it this morning and this app is saying I'm up to 4 folds today. Maybe some update threw it off, I'm not sure, but it is definitely not accurate. ETA: I force closed the app and that helped for a day, but now it's back to logging instantaneous folds that didn't happen.

It's a good app, but it doesn't always count each fold. There have been a few times lately when I've unfolded and folded my Samsung Z Fold 8 and it hasn't counted the folds.

app looks great but looks like it's not compatible with the Fold 8 yet. Will update my comment once compatibility it's solved. ***UPDATE ON ISSUE*** Issue was resolved. thank you very much. I am very happy now that I'll be able to know how many times I used the inner scree.
