About this app

MapNero is a professional GIS and EOD / mine-action mapping app built for field teams. Survey, map and document hazardous areas with survey-grade accuracy — online or fully offline.

KEY FEATURES
- External GNSS / RTK: connect a Bluetooth NMEA receiver for centimetre-level positioning, with live satellite, DOP and accuracy readouts and an alert when accuracy drops.
- Internal GPS or external GNSS — switch any time.
- Layers and features: draw points, lines and polygons; add photos, notes and custom attributes.
- IMAS / land-release workflow: SHA/CHA classification, status, contamination types and activity tracking (TNMA 07.11/01).
- Georeferenced PDF maps: open field PDFs, drop pins, measure and record tracks directly on them.
- Import and export: Shapefile (with .prj reprojection and full attributes), GPX, KML/KMZ, CSV and GeoJSON. Choose WGS84 or UTM on export.
- Offline basemaps and satellite imagery.
- Track recording with a background service.
