My biggest complaint is that it crashes every couple minutes. It goes to a loading screen and never comes out of it. I have to restart the app every time. My Pixel 2 isn't an out dated or unsupported platform for this. Even if the crashing wasn't an issue, there are 3 different settings menus, each in different locations and finding the settings you need isn't very intuitive. Also, nothing in the manual, user guide or the app explains the settings in any detail, so I'm left to googling each setting and guessing. All of this while the app continues to crash. I'm disappointed to say the least.

This app is really bad. It crashes all the time. It only connects with my camera about 10% of the time. I can't activate Bluetooth no matter how hard I try. It's ridiculous that a prominent feature of this app is a web browser, since you've never been able to connect to the camera and the web at the same time. The only way to make the Ricoh cameras usable is with Google's Streetview app, and that's not great either. I wish this app could access a crash log for my Ricoh V. It restarts a lot, and I don't know if it's from overheating or what.

Connectivity and control do not want to cooperate from time to time. The app doesn't give you explanations for anything. Just rejects you, and you have to figure out why. I had to look up a video explaining that you have to add the thing to your device WiFi network list, then open the app, then recognize the camera, then connect.. it's convoluted. My business partner tried 3 times on his device and never got connected.. the GUI is.. okay. But more user tips and info would greatly improve it.

What's new

"A new EV step “0.0EV” has been added for the function “AE Bracket” used to shoot multiple still images with different exposures for each image.
You will be able to take multiple still images with the same exposure in a single bracketing shot.
This is useful for compositing multiple images for the purpose of noise reduction. "

It is necessary to update the camera firmware to the “version 2.10.3” or later.
