EnChat is an English conversation app built around talking, not lessons. You open it to a chat list, not a lesson menu. Say something out loud and a partner with a real background - a Boeing 787 captain, a cafe owner who used to design products, a sous chef, an ER doctor - answers the way that person would, in a lifelike voice.

PRACTICE WITH PRIVACY CHOICES
Raw audio is never uploaded. Your speech is turned into text on your device wherever your device has a local model for the language, and EnChat never sends your recordings anywhere. If you turn on recording playback, your recordings are written only to that device - never uploaded, never included in a backup - and are cleared after 30 days. Choose Standard mode for the best AI conversation, Enhanced Privacy to send less context, or Local mode to keep content on device where supported. Learning records stay on your device; on eligible plans you can opt in to backing up your practice history to your own Google account.

Every partner is a fictional character generated by AI, not a real person, and will tell you so if you ask.

WHO IT IS FOR
Adult learners from A1 to C1 who want better spoken English for daily life, work, interviews, travel, exams and making conversation - including anyone who reads English well but freezes when it is time to speak.

Some features and higher daily limits require an auto-renewing subscription. Customizing partners and higher lifelike-voice allowances are part of paid plans; when the daily voice allowance runs out, practice continues with the built-in device voice. Availability of on-device features depends on your device and language support.
