Thinnai Games brings together three traditional South Indian games, rebuilt
from scratch and free to play.
🐯 HERD & HUNTER - Aadu Puli Aattam
Three tigers hunt. Fifteen goats stand together. Place your herd across the
23-point lattice, then trap every tiger - or leap in and thin the herd before
they close ranks. The tiger-and-goat strategy board game played on porches
across Tamil Nadu for generations. Play against a friend, or against an AI
opponent at three difficulty levels.
🎲 DHAYAM
Roll the dhayakattai - the four-sided sticks the game is named for - and walk
your pieces the long way round a four-armed board. Land on a rival and they
start again; bring every piece home to the centre first and you win. Play
solo against bots, with friends, or as two teams of partners sharing a side.
♛ CATCH THE THIEF - Raja Rani
Everyone draws a hidden role - King, Queen, Minister, Police, Thief - and the
Police has to work out who took the Thief. Guess wrong and the Thief walks
off with your points. A pass-and-play party card game built for one phone
passed hand to hand - perfect for a group in one room. Bilingual: English and Tamil.
