This is the new version of the 3Cats Clock with Seconds. It has been fixed and now the widget works on every device reliably and with minimal resource usage. Long-tap to resize the widget, the text will not change size but it will be centered.

* Do you know the difference between an Icon and a Widget?
If your widget seems too small, doesn't work or you can't change the colour, double check that you're really adding the Widget and not an Icon on your home screen before rating 1-star!
** Clock Widget falls behind or stops?
Maybe system is killing it for "battery optimization". Try the "Keep Alive" option.

If 3Cats Clock must run at all cost, try the "Foreground" option. It will use a Foreground Service with Notification.

Ratings and reviews

The widget freezes the moment you close the app, and is thus useless unless you want to know what time it was when you closed the app. Furthermore, it does not allow for any customization. The only thing you can do when you enter the app is see the time in red. You can't change the color, you cant change the font or font size, you can't change to 12 hour format.

I got this app for a digital seconds display and it does the job perfectly. Android says it uses too much battery but I have no problem with it. It does freeze now and then which I wish it wouldn't but flipping it to landscape and back starts it again. I'm looking forward to the next version that will fix this little bug. If it gets fixed I would give it 5 stars but even if it doesn't it's usable and the price is right.

Update 7 Apr 23: dropping from 4 to 2 stars because widget keeps freezing, the time not updated. Will have to look for another app. Excellent simple app, does what it says, 4.9 stars. I wanted a simple clock widget with seconds (hh:mm:ss) but there are so few! This is the best I've tried. One request: the font style could be improved, maybe provide a couple of styles to choose from? Then I'd give it 5 stars.
