About this app

The simplest and most secure authentication app, using Tide technology.
The app creates a secret key that never leaves your device or ever gets exposed in any way. To register your device, you replace your existing Tide account's password with the proof of your device's key.
To authenticate, the app will use your camera to scan a QR code specific for your session. It will then perform a biometric scan to verify your identity, and once verified, it will provide a new proof of your device to guarantee it is you who signed in.
If you don't have a Tide account, you can create one here when signing-in to a Tide-enabled website.
If you already have an account on an old device, you can easily swap between devices as long as you can authenticate to the old app. Alternatively, if you don't have access to your old device or can't remember the details of your old account, you can request to reconstruct it using the email addresses you provided on sign-up.
The app doesn't store or record in memory any of your passwords, emails or personal information. It only stores your username and your device's secret key. No identifying details, location, telemetry or settings.
