About this app

NAMED BEST PASSWORD MANAGER BY THE VERGE, U.S. NEWS & WORLD REPORT, CNET, AND MORE.

Manage, store, secure, and share unlimited passwords across unlimited devices from anywhere. Bitwarden delivers open source password management solutions to everyone, whether at home, at work, or on the go.

Generate strong, unique, and random passwords based on security requirements for every website you frequent.

Bitwarden Send quickly transmits encrypted information --- files and plaintext -- directly to anyone.

Bitwarden offers Teams and Enterprise plans for companies so you can securely share passwords with colleagues.

Why Choose Bitwarden:

World-Class Encryption
Passwords are protected with advanced end-to-end encryption (AES-256 bit, salted hashtag, and PBKDF2 SHA-256) so your data stays secure and private.

Built-in Password Generator
Create long, complex, and distinct passwords for every site you visit.

Global Translations
Bitwarden translations exist in 40 languages and are growing, thanks to our global community.

Cross-Platform Applications
Secure and share sensitive data within your Bitwarden Vault from any browser, mobile device, or desktop OS, and more.

Accessibility Services Disclosure
Bitwarden offers the ability to use the Accessibility Service to augment Autofill on older devices or in cases where autofill is not working correctly. When enabled, the Accessibility Service is used to search for login fields in apps and websites. This establishes the appropriate field IDs when a match for the app or site is found and inserts credentials. When the Accessibility Service is active Bitwarden does not store information or control any on-screen elements beyond inserting credentials.

Stealing 1 star because of quite slow master password login... Yeah, and could you please add a 'Change font size' functionality? Otherwise: great & cleverly designed app. During installation, needs a lot of Android permission set up, but once this is done, works very nicely. Constantly updated & improved via Google Play, comprehensive online documentation & responsive email support. 100% ad-free even with the free subscription! Memory footprint: 63 MB. Became one of my core apps, a must-have.

Fantastic password manager. Almost perfect, I only have one complaint: Oftentimes, the autofill service doesn't work. That is, the pop-up window doesn't show up, and I have to click on the notification, wait for the app to load, and then tap the autofill item. Happens mostly in the browser as far as I remember. For the future, I'd really love to see this working better, which would make Bitwarden the best password manager by far.

Easy to use, reliable, works as expected without any crazy feature that no one wants to use. I switched from lastPass to bitwarden because it stopped supporting my device. But now I find bitwarden a bit better because it just feels like the focus is more on the user comfortability rather than tossing as many features as you can that no one end up using.
