The app and probes work fairly well. I've had to remove the probe and start over a few times because it wasn't updating the app with a accurate meat temp. Meaning, when I inserted the probe, the temp read 32°f and 30 min later, it was still reading 32 until I started over. My biggest issue is there is no way to close out the app. It wants to keep running in the background, even if you're not using it. I have to force close it. Plus it says I can't log in but it logs me in. Just a buggy app.

I've had this app on a previous phone and it was a pain to set up. Once set up it works okay. Now with a new phone it took ages to connect. Even sitting right next to the router with my phone and thermometer made no difference. After deleting and reinstalling the app it still wouldn't connect. Eventually I walked away in frustration leaving the thermometer behind and when I got away from the thermometer the phone connected. No idea if that was the issue or not but at least it works now

This was great only for a handful of cooks until the probe stopped charging or turning on altogether. The app doesn't provide anything for troubleshooting to see what the potential issue is. I did find the signal dropped completely when using the smoker, maybe because of the steel blocking the signal.

The wireless connection distance between the mobile phone app and the device Bluetooth in an open space exceeds 80 meters. Metal obstructions will affect wireless signal transmission.
