I bought the LTC-318-W temperature and humidity controller. It failed to connect to my S20 Galaxy phone and reqired location data "so that it could obtain weather for my area". And they pinky promise not to share the data with anyone else. This makes no sense to me, they are just using your phone for data harvesting, so go right ahead if you want to but I will not. This app is trash and doesn't work. I can't even use the controller without the app, so I am returning it. What a waste of time.

Logged me out and now can't add old device. NO NOTIFICATIONS Absolutely a trash app. Do not buy this if you want an app to notify you if your meat is done or flame goes out. No passive alerts when smoker goes out and meat gets cold! I have videos of sensor limit beeping but phone has nothing, even when you open app. So what is the point of an app then if the two main things I would do are Broken. Been like this for years and 7/25 now. They don't bother to fix it. 12/25 another failure

The app solicited a review so here it is: this is an annoying app. I took the batteries out of the only connected device and the app still says it's "Online" and I can't refresh it. And the device that connected isn't giving me the recorded data that it should. I don't know if the app sucks, or the device, maybe both. I wont be using anymore Inkbird products in the future, at least not the "smart" devices that require an app to use.
