About this app

TOKEN2 Companion app is a tool to leverage the use of TOKEN2 FIDO2 security keys beyond standard FIDO2/WebAuthn functionality. The app enables you to set and use TOTP profiles on an Android device (NFC or USB/OTG). The app also allows to configure FIDO settings and manage passkey records.

Ratings and reviews

I can't speak highly enough of Token2. The app(s) for their products are intuitive, and very easy to set up. My firewall has caught absolutely zero traffic between their apps and any sort of analytics networks, which is a rarity nowadays. T2 clearly has privacy and security in mind, which is exactly what I would expect from a Swiss-based company. Their tokens are substantially cheaper than the brand name Y competitor, and work just as well. They also have unique security products (hardware TOTP)

Works, but crashes frequently when generating otp for NFC 2 factor authentication on pixel7. Crashes when timer runs out occasionally, crashes when exiting frequently. Adding new otp accounts is frustrating with the NFC sync and often requires multiple tries.

Works flawlessly with no intrusive ads, offering a simple and clean user interface that's easy to navigate. The functionality is top-notch and well-executed. The only feature I would suggest adding is support for system color themes, such as a dark mode, to enhance usability and aesthetics for users who prefer it.
