Scan by Tonsetech reads QR codes and barcodes with your camera or from a photo, and tells you what's inside before you act on it.

POINT, SCAN, DONE
Aim your camera at a code and the result appears right away. You can also pick a photo from your gallery, crop it to the code, and scan that. The flashlight helps in dim places, and you can switch between the front and back camera.

DO THE RIGHT THING WITH EACH CODE
The app recognizes what a code contains and offers the matching action:
• Website: open the link
• Wi-Fi: join the network without typing the password
• Contact card: save it to your contacts
• Calendar event: add it to your calendar
• Email, SMS or phone number: start the message or call
• Location: open it in your maps app
• Product barcode or plain text: copy it or search the web

It reads QR, Micro QR, EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, UPC-E, ISBN, Code 128, Code 39, Code 93, ITF, Codabar, PDF417, Data Matrix and Aztec.

CREATE YOUR OWN CODES
Make a QR code for a website, Wi-Fi network, contact, text, email, SMS, phone number, location or calendar event. On Android you can also make one that links to any app you have installed. You can also create 13 barcode types, including EAN-13, UPC-A, Code 128, ISBN, Data Matrix and PDF417. The app checks your input as you type, so a wrong digit count or a bad check digit gets caught before you print anything.

MAKE IT LOOK YOURS
Pick colors for the dots and the corners, choose square or round shapes, and watch the preview update. If your colors get too low in contrast to scan reliably, the app warns you.

SAVE, SHARE, EXPORT
Save any code to your photos, share it as an image, or export its contents as CSV or TXT.

HISTORY THAT STAYS ON YOUR PHONE
Everything you scan or create is kept in History, grouped by day, and you can search it. Star the codes you use often to keep them in
Saved. Swipe to delete, with undo if you change your mind.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Scanning, creating and your history all work offline. Your codes are stored only on your device and are never uploaded.
