Great file management application. It is a significant improvement on the system file manager on my device, an S9+ running Android One. The ads are unintrusive and occasional. Even though I have bought the ad-free upgrade, I believe the application works well, with or without the ad-free upgrade. I like the option for a dark theme. The UI and functionality of this app is superb, it is not as clunky and slow as I would expect file management to be on a phone, rather than a computer.

I use the Files by Google app instead of the standard app that came with my phone. I like how the app sorts my files by category. So many functions can be done right in the app, ie renaming files, deleting files, and moving files. There are numerous functions that I used to perform with a cleanup program that I now perform in the app. I recommend this app; it hasnt steered me wrong.

I've done everything I know to do to keep this app running, but it continually crashes. I'll get a message saying it crashed even when I have an opened it. The amount of ads is atrocious. I select a file, there's an ad. I select an item inside that file then there's an ad, and it continues on. Awful.
