[Introducing My Files]
"My Files" manages all the files on your smartphone, just like a file explorer on your computer.
You can also manage files stored on SD cards, USB drives and files in the cloud storage connected with your smartphone at the same time.

-Storage: Used to open, delete, edit, search files and folders on internal / external memory (lower than Android 13)
- Notifications : Used to show the progress of ongoing actions such as moving or copying files and folders

Ratings and reviews

Duplicate files needs a feature where you "select all new" or "select all old" files. Would save a lot of time instead of tapping each individual file. Also, synching with Google drive needs work. Lastly, the "search folder only" mechanic is spotty. Especially with Google drive files. With the last two, I'm constantly having to resynch the files.

Like someone else said, I'm "always running out of storage" and yet I delete files and hundreds of photos to my backup storage. I found that most of the backup storage is taken up by THE CLOUD's storage. I turned off the Cloud, but it is still keeping backup when i don't ask for it. I'm now looking at other options and trying to get away from Microsoft and ways to bypass Samsung files. Every time I do it, and then there's an "UPDATE" it starts all over again. I HATE THE UPDATES!

Files. When you think of files, you think of stored data that can be easily accessed, right? Samsung files provides the most terrible, hard to work with software that makes using files a terrible experience. Trying to access app data is impossible due to app restrictions (which can't be removed) so you need to use another third party app or a pc. The 1 star given is for the GUI, which looks better than the rest, but it doesn't outweigh the horrible access to files given by the app, do not use.

What’s new

- When searching the internal storage, you can immediately add or delete Favorites while checking the folder route.
- When compressing files, you can strengthen the security by entering a password. Compressed files with passwords can also be unzipped.
- “Analyze storage” now shows you how much storage is being used by file type on OneDrive/Google Drive.
