About this app

Find the tempo of any song in seconds. Point your phone at the speaker and let BPM Analyzer listen, or tap along to the beat — either way you get a clean BPM reading.

Perfect for DJs warming up a set, dancers building choreography, music teachers preparing class, fitness instructors picking the right pace, and producers comparing their loops to a reference track.

Key features
• Auto Detect — real-time BPM from any audio playing around you
• Tap Tempo — tap at least 4 times for a precise reading
• Tempo names — see whether your track is Andante, Allegro, Presto and more
• Genre hints — suggested styles for the detected tempo (Pop, House, Trance, Drum & Bass and more)
• Half / Double — fix the typical double-time or half-time detection issue with one tap
• History — save BPM readings with a song name memo and review them later
• Beat pulse — visual flash that follows the detected tempo
• Material 3 design with light and dark themes
• Available in 20 languages

How it works
1. Open the app and pick Auto Detect or Tap Tempo
2. Grant microphone access (audio is analyzed live and never recorded)
3. Read the BPM, save it if needed, or tap Half / Double to correct the octave

Audio is processed on-device only. No recording is stored, no audio leaves your phone. The microphone is used solely to estimate the tempo of the sound around it.

Whether you are matching BPMs at a club, building a workout playlist, or learning a new dance routine, BPM Analyzer gives you the reading you need without fiddly setup.
