Touchdown Merge is a number-based puzzle built around a classic 9×9 grid. Each round begins with a partially completed board containing numbers from 1 to 9. The objective is to fill every empty cell while following the rules of the grid.
Each row must contain every number from 1 to 9 only once. The same rule applies to every column and to each individual 3×3 block. The player enters numbers manually by selecting an empty cell and choosing the required number.
Numbers that were automatically placed at the beginning of the round cannot be selected or changed. Correctly entered numbers also become fixed and cannot be modified. There is no note feature, so every entry is made directly into the grid.
Touchdown Merge uses a three-life system to track mistakes. The player can enter an incorrect number up to three times, with the remaining lives shown by a dedicated indicator. This provides a clear limit for errors while keeping the focus on completing the board accurately.
The game includes one difficulty level. There is no selection between multiple difficulty settings, keeping the structure consistent from one round to the next.
Time is tracked throughout each round. The elapsed time is shown when the entire grid has been completed. Once all cells are correctly filled, the screen flashes green and the message “well done” appears. The completed time is then displayed, together with a “PLAY AGAIN” button for starting another round.
Touchdown Merge keeps the gameplay structure focused on number placement, accuracy, and completion time. The result of a completed round is stored in the records when the recorded result is greater than zero.
Touchdown Merge provides a straightforward grid-based format where every move contributes directly to solving the 9×9 board. Fill the empty cells, avoid unnecessary mistakes, complete the grid, and see how long the round took.
Complete the 9×9 grid, manage three lives, and track your solving time.
