Horrible service. They deducted our entire amount and said tickets would arrive in 20mins. We waited and waited and didn't receive any tickets.. Contacted customer support and they said they are a 3rd party service provider so its not their fault!
Notice how nearly all of the reviews are either 5 stars or 1 star. This means you either used the service with success and saved maybe $5 or $10 (if that), OR you had the terrible experience of planning an exciting vacation/activity only to have it ruined by Headout at the last minute. Here's the deal with Headout (which they FAIL to make clear on their website before you buy); When you purchase tickets through them you are BY NO MEANS GUARANTEED to receive those tickets. Based on reviews and my experience with multiple orders, I'll estimate there's a 30 to 40% chance that you WON'T receive those tickets. It mostly depends on how much YOU paid versus how low Headout can NEGOTIATE their own purchase price from the source at the LAST MINUTE. If there's little or no profit for them, your order will be cancelled (you will be kindly informed of this via email, long after your event has ended and after you've spent hours waiting on the phone or chat window). Also in my experience, when you use the "CASH BACK" they award you on a future purchase, you are even LESS LIKELY to receive your tickets, as it further decreases their profit margin. When they cancel your reservation they will refund your money, to be sure, and they'll offer you a $15 credit, but you are NOT REFUNDED the cash back that you previously earned (so if you spent over $15 of your "cash back" rewards, your next purchase is actually MORE EXPENSIVE). Another sneaky tactic is when you pay upfront to book a reservation, you will immediately receive an email confirmation (which many people will assume confirms the reservation and proceed with their plans to attend), but if you read the email you are told it is only a confirmation of payment, and that your tickets will be emailed separately before the event. NOWHERE do they mention the high probability that your order will be CANCELED. You assume in good faith that you will receive the tickets you paid for, and you "head out" to the event. Well good luck to you. Just look at the photo of these guys on their website... Who wouldn't trust those faces? I wouldn't. They will be sued out of business in a year or two. Only a matter of time until they cross the wrong (right) person. Until then, BUYER BEWARE.
Easy to book things.. then they screw you over. Accidently booked wrong date and immediately sent an email, was denied a refund or any change in dates and the customer service team would not reply to me. Ruined our holiday, stay away from these scammers
Excellent app. Booked couple of tours in Dubai and I got it cheaper than anywhere else. Very easy to use app as well. It would be good if more Europe and UK countries are added.
It's incredibly easy to book using the app. I used it to book couple of tours and activities for friends and family at great prices. We faced a problem with confirmation mail for one of the tours, but customer team took care of that for us. Wasn't much of a hassle. Do check it out!
