Towbook for Android is a mobile version of Towbook that lets you access your company's Towbook account from any Android device. Add new calls, dispatch calls to drivers, receive job updates, push notifications, send/print receipts, upload photos, use plate-to-VIN technology, manage impounds and much more directly from your device.

Dispatchers can accept digital dispatches from major motor clubs including Agero, Allied Dispatch, Allstate, FleetNet, Geico, Honk, Nation Safe Drivers, National Auto Club, Questx, Roadside Protect, ServiCase, Swoop, Sykes, Tesla, and Urgently.

works right most of the time. notifications are kinda wonky, sometimes they come through, sometimes they don't. I DO wish they would overhaul the Android app to look/work more similar to the ios app. I'm not sure why they are set up so differently. That's really my only complaint other than the notification issues that are pretty consistent across both android and iOS.

It works really well when it works! As a dispatcher, the annoying bubble on my screen and constant location reporting is pretty irritating. Everyone knows where I am and I really don't see the reason I have to enable location reporting, as it drains my battery. The bubble is easy to turn off, but I don't like how every time I open the app I have to dismiss a ton of prompts to enable something I don't want. Finally, it doesn't work in landscape, which makes maps difficult to read.

While I like Towbook, in general, there are a few changes I'd make to improve it. I'd like to see a contact us button that links directly to the phone number for whatever contract (Road America, Quest,...) you're working in stead of having to open the phone app, looking for the number, and then having to dial it - this would save quite a bit a time when needing to have "extras' approved when sitting on the side of the road. Also, I'm not liking how when I complete a job on the app, it doesn't update the desktop version unless you reload Towbook (desktop).
