About this app

towd is the motorist app for on-demand towing and roadside help. Drop a pin, see the price before you confirm, and track a nearby operator on a live map.

How it works
1. Open the app and pick tow or roadside. Drop a pin, add your vehicle, and any notes.
2. See the total before you confirm. We authorize your card up front and charge it when the job is done. Your card number is never shared with the driver.
3. Nearby operators who are online get the offer. When one accepts, you see them on the map.
4. Chat or call in the app. Share a trip link so family can follow without getting the operator’s phone number.

Who shows up
Operators do not go online until government ID (Stripe Identity), commercial insurance, and truck details are on file. You see that a real truck is assigned, not a call-center promise.
