Document controls

With HTML To Text, you decide which document to open and where a converted document is saved. The app uses the Android system document picker instead of requesting broad storage access. Imported HTML and TXT documents are processed on the device and are not sent to a custom conversion server.

Privacy-focused document handling

Conversions take place locally on the device. Generated HTML previews disable JavaScript, file access, content access, database storage, and network loading. Temporary HTML documents created for sharing are stored in the app cache and may be removed by Android or the app. Documents you intentionally save remain in the location you select until you delete them.

The app displays advertisements and requires an internet connection for advertising and network availability checks. Advertising services may process device identifiers, advertising interactions, diagnostics, IP address, and approximate location according to their policies and applicable consent choices. The content of selected documents is not used for ad targeting by the app.
