About this app

Temperature Converter Widget converts a temperature value from one scale to another on your Android phone or tablet. Type a number, choose a From unit and a To unit, then tap Convert to see the converted temperature on the Home screen.

HOW TO CONVERT
Open Temperature Converter Widget and stay on Home. Enter the temperature you want to convert. Select the starting scale in From and the destination scale in To. You can also tap a quick conversion pair: Celsius to Fahrenheit, Fahrenheit to Celsius, Celsius to Kelvin, Kelvin to Celsius, Fahrenheit to Kelvin, or Kelvin to Fahrenheit. Tap Convert to calculate the result. Use Swap to reverse the two units, Copy Result to place the answer on the clipboard, or Clear to reset the fields.

SUPPORTED SCALES
Temperature Converter Widget supports eight temperature scales:

• Celsius (°C) for weather, cooking, and household thermometers, with water at 0°C and 100°C under standard atmospheric pressure.
• Fahrenheit (°F), used in the United States for weather and household thermometers, with water at 32°F and 212°F under standard atmospheric pressure.
• Kelvin (K), the absolute scale used in science, where 0 K is absolute zero.
• Rankine (°R), an absolute scale based on Fahrenheit steps, used in some engineering work.
• Réaumur (°Ré), a historic scale where water is at 0°Ré and 80°Ré.
• Rømer (°Rø), a historic scale with water near 7.5°Rø and 60°Rø.
• Delisle (°De), a historic scale that counts downward from the boiling point of water.
• Newton (°N), a historic scale associated with Isaac Newton, with water at 0°N and 33°N.

The Units screen in Temperature Converter Widget explains each scale in plain language so you can confirm you selected the scale you intended.

CALCULATION ON YOUR DEVICE
When you tap Convert, Temperature Converter Widget calculates the result on your device from the number you entered and the units you selected. You do not create an account and you do not sign in. Values you type, units you select, conversion history, and appearance choices stay on this device.

HISTORY
After a conversion, the result can be kept in History on this device. Open a previous item to reuse those units and that value. Remove one item if you no longer need it, or clear every saved conversion from History or from Settings.

APPEARANCE AND APP INFORMATION
In Settings you can follow the system appearance, or choose a light theme or a dark theme. About describes the purpose of the converter, the main features, how to use the screens, and the usage rules. A Privacy Policy is included inside the app.

NETWORK AND ADVERTISEMENTS
An internet connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data) is required to open and use Temperature Converter Widget. If Wi-Fi and mobile data are turned off, the app asks you to turn on a connection before you continue. Temperature calculations still run on the device.

Advertisements may appear as App Open ads when the app is opened as a new process, and as interstitial ads after a conversion result is shown. Ads are separate from the converter controls.

WHO THIS APP IS FOR
Use Temperature Converter Widget for personal temperature conversion at home, at school, at work, or while traveling between regions that use different scales. Enter a valid number. Empty or invalid input shows a message and does not convert.

HOW A CONVERSION WORKS
1. Open the app on Home.
2. Type the temperature.
3. Set From and To, or tap a quick conversion pair.
4. Tap Convert.
5. Read the converted temperature, then Swap, Copy Result, or Clear as needed.
6. Open History later if you want the same conversion again.
7. Open Units if you want a short explanation of a scale.
8. Open Settings for appearance, About, Privacy Policy, or to clear history.
