The Device Pulse Application provides users served by TracFone's brands the following:
- Instant Brand Recognition.
- Ability to troubleshoot their device, via a Branded Chatbot portal in Contact Support.
- Ability to see their device IMEI, SIM number, and Phone Number, all in one screen.
- Examine various device hardware properties.
- Examine the software version, and security patch information.

Ratings and reviews

very intrusive and does things in a manner that is not apparent to the customer. if you press twice it gives more permissions to allow more access than what I was lead to believe this app is just a method for Google to gather everyones information and tricks them into thinking that they are safe but every icon is another opportunity to take advantage of the unsuspecting customer and I think they should be looked into more thoroughly.

If there were a MINUS 10 option in the ratings, it would what this app gets. Cannot stop, cannot remove, it is preinstalled and just another way to be tracked. It is bloatware, spyware, trackware, and utterly useless to anyone but tracphone. Disgusted, and I am going to get another phone from another provider. Sick and tired of giving out info to people and companies that have not asked or let me know they were doing it. I feel raped. And I didn't even get dinner before, or a kiss after!

if I could give it 0 stars I would. my phone did not come with this app and it was added without my knowledge. intrusive and unwanted...yet you can't uninstall. changes throughout the day. If this even makes it onto the play store for public view...I'll be amazed. I'm just getting a new phone, service, number. Verizon and their"partner in crime" total wireless suck for me and I refuse to put up with it anymore. gonna go without a phone until I get another one. whenever that might be.
