App functions. That being said it you have to have phone inches from blood. Doesn't pick up on wood and very little on rock. mapping feature needs orientation arrow or come for travel. Dot is moving constantly when you are stationary. I tried it on two different tracks. I cancelled my subscription and have requested a refund. the app is definitely not worth $29.99 a year.

In my experience, this app failed to identify very obvious blood on green leaves. it also seemed to like certain colors on the ground that were definitely plants and not blood. i tried using it on two animals, one where there was very sparse blood, and one where there was a massive amount of blood. in both cases, I didn't feel that it was a great aid to the effort. i liked the concept but it didnt work as advertised. Perhaps there are some environments where it works better than others.

Download and immediately tested the blood tracker. While yes its not perfect because it picks up color wavelength. This works great for us that are color deficient. Got the chance to use it in the field works great was finding pin drops in tall grass. Back lighting is a must use flashlight at night with vibration alert. the closer you hold the phone to the ground the better it works. at impact sight was able to hold a waist level but when blood was slowing to pin drops. held about 1.5 to 2 foot.
