Trail Router helps you discover new running routes.

Our routing algorithm prefers paths that go through parks, forests or by water, and avoids busy roads wherever possible.

Here's a few things you can do with Trail Router:

1. Automatically plot a round-trip route of a desired distance.
2. Manually create your own point-to-point route that prefers greenery and water.
3. Choose whether you'd prefer routes that involve nature, well-lit streets or a lack of hills.

Beautifully simple. I got fed up with all the other trail apps that look like money grabs. This one is exactly what I was hoping for. Just search for a place and it shows you a handful of nearby trails with some minor elevation info. I can't begin to describe how happy I am to have found this app. I'm about 10 minutes into using it and have not yet been prompted (pestered) to make a purchase yet. Not sure how long that will last.

good but a few flaws, the setting for turn by turn direction keeps turning itself off and now for some reason in the settings tab I can't save anything because the save button is up at the top and is obscured by my phone battery percentage, WiFi, data symbols etc. other than that it's good for finding running routes

I never leave app reviews, but with such a small user base I feel like I need to. This app (and its website) are fantastic, and I truly believe there's nothing out there like it. I love the 'make a route for me' feature and all the different preference adjustments which can be made. Being able to export routes to GPX (for free!) is even better. Thank you!
