PRIVACY FIRST
TrainWake is built to respect your privacy. No accounts, no analytics, no third-party trackers. Your journeys, routes, and trip history stay on your phone - nothing is uploaded. The only network request the app makes is loading map tiles from OpenStreetMap.

PERMISSIONS
- Location, including in the background, is required to detect that you've boarded and to wake you as you approach your stop. The alarm works even when the app is closed or not in use.
- Physical activity is used to detect when you board a vehicle, so GPS can stay off until you're moving.
- Notifications are used for the ongoing status, the nudge, and the alarm.
