Kochi1 App is a one-stop application for all your travel and payment needs in Kochi.
The new Kochi1 app is much more than just booking metro QR tickets. A resident or a tourist, young or old, anyone can travel and explore Kochi city with an all-in-one platform at their fingertips. The app will allow you to plan end-to-end trips within the city using journey planner; quick-book tickets in just a few clicks; view bus and metro timings; explore the city; get notifications of local offers & updates and manage the Kochi1 card.

Online Metro ticket booking:
• Login to the Kochi1 App
• Click on the tickets tab on the right bottom of the page
• Enter you from and to destination
• Choose one way or round trip as per you convenience
• Click on book ticket to proceed
• Choose your convenient mode of payment
• Now it is all done, your QR ticket is generated now and you are ready to travel

I recently had an unfortunate experience with the Kochi One Card while attempting to reset my MPIN. It was an incredibly frustrating and disappointing encounter that left me dissatisfied with the overall functionality and user experience of the card. Upon choosing the option to reset my MPIN, I was met with a blank screen. It was quite disconcerting, as I expected a prompt or some form of guidance to follow. Unfortunately, there was no indication of what steps to take next or any information.

App is poorly designed with no consideration of user experience, especially after the second update. First of all,it unnecessarily asks for location access. Secondly, it wouldn't launch unless USB debugging is disabled. Thirdly, it doesn't allow third party keyboards. Fourthly, you can't book multiple tickets. All of this features are supposedly for security, but there are other banking apps which work fine without such measures. In my opinion, developers are too lazy.

The app says that i should disable third-party keyboard in order for it to work. I use Gboard on my Samsung phone. Unable to use the app because of this. The QR ticket feature is nice but it doesn't work properly at metro stations. You have to try atleast 5-6 times before making it work. This has to be improved. I have used Namma Metro QR ticketing and the app works like a charm.
