About this app

TrickTic Timer is a workout companion with timers you can rely on. Everything stays on your Android device: no account, ads, analytics, or cloud service is required.

Train with a plan:

• Open the app to your next workout and start it with one tap.
• Log sets with big buttons prefilled from your last set and last time, rest with a clear countdown, and let timed exercises like planks log themselves.
• Fix any set, add or swap exercises for today only, and finish early without losing anything; pick up where you stopped.
• See your week against a goal, a calendar, weekly volume, and records by weight, reps, or hold time, with an estimated one-rep max.
• Share a finished workout as a post or story image.
• Control a workout from the notification, a floating panel, a home-screen widget, a Quick Settings tile, or a supported headset button.
• Add exercise images and choose kg or lb while preserving historical units.

Keep precise timers too:

• Run single, interval, repeating, and concurrent timer sessions.
• Save timers you use often and start them with one tap.
• Keep timing through screen-off, process recreation, and device restarts, with exact alarms.

Your data remains under your control:

• Store timers, workouts, history, and settings locally.
• Export a checksummed backup file and restore it on another device.
• Use Android Auto Backup if enabled in your device settings.
• Keep your data private: the app collects nothing and has no internet access.

Alarm behavior depends on notification, exact-alarm, audio, and battery settings provided by Android and your device manufacturer. TrickTic includes a settings checklist so missing access is visible before it matters.
Guided workouts, progress you can share, and precise timers, fully offline.

What’s new

Discarding a workout now ends it everywhere at once: the notification and the floating panel no longer keep showing it, and it stays discarded even if you close the app while Undo is still on screen. Undo still brings it back for 10 seconds.
