Trokae is a multilateral digital barter platform for entrepreneurs. Here you exchange your services for the services of other entrepreneurs, without needing to exchange money between you.
How it works
Register your business on the platform and describe the service you offer. From that moment on, you can issue vouchers for your own service. Each voucher is a contractual promise that you will deliver a specific service when someone presents that voucher to you. These vouchers circulate within the Trokae network as an instrument of exchange between micro-enterprises.
You use your voucher to pay for the service of another registered micro-enterprise. For example: you are a hairdresser, you need a haircut from another hairdresser, but you also need a designer for your brand. You issue a voucher for R$200 of your own service and exchange it for the designer's service. Without touching your cash flow.
Who is it for?
Trokae is designed for individual micro-entrepreneurs (MEI), micro-enterprises, and self-employed service providers in Brazil and Paraguay. If you have idle service capacity and need to contract other services to grow your business, digital bartering solves your working capital problem.
Sectors that most use bartering on the network:
Airbnb hosts, architects, beauty clinics, hairdressers and barbers, manicurists, estheticians, massage therapists, graphic designers, photographers, cleaning service providers, electricians, carpenters, painters, private tutors, personal trainers, nutritionists, accountants, lawyers, consultants, seamstresses, mechanics – more than 1,000 business models. If your service can be delivered in person or remotely, it can be bartered.
Coverage:
Today the platform is available in Brazil and Paraguay, initially focusing on large metropolitan areas and the border between the two countries. Cross-border bartering between Brazilian and Paraguayan micro-enterprises takes place within the network itself, without currency exchange complications.
Free Registration
Registration and use on the platform are free. You can issue vouchers for your own services and transfer vouchers you've issued yourself at no cost. Paid plans offer more space to issue and transfer vouchers per month, as well as verification badges, map visibility, and advanced portfolio management tools.
Vouchers are the instrument of digital bartering
Bartering is the traditional Brazilian way of referring to direct exchange between service providers. Trokae has digitized this old concept, maintaining its essence: you pay for services with your services, generate value for your business, and strengthen the network of micro-enterprises around you.
