Speak. It types anywhere.
Speakline turns your voice into text and types it into any app you're using — messages, notes, search bars, and more. Speak once and watch the words appear in the field you're focused on, automatically cleaned up and punctuated.
Key features:
• Dictate into any app with a floating bubble
• Automatic punctuation and text cleanup
• Choose your transcription engine — on-device or cloud
• Full dictation history, searchable and revisitable
• Gift Aid ready — build donations with accurate, typed text
• Auto-renewing Pro subscription for unlimited cloud transcription (7-day free trial included)
Private by design:
• Cloud transcription processes audio only and does not store it
• Analytics never see your transcripts or the apps you dictate into
• No ads. No location tracking. No selling your data.
• Delete your history or your whole account any time
How it works:
1. Grant the microphone permission and the accessibility permission
2. Tap the floating bubble
3. Speak — Speakline types for you
Why Speakline needs Accessibility access:
The accessibility permission is what lets Speakline type your dictated words into the field you're using — it's the only way one app can insert text into another. Speakline reads just the field your cursor is in, only the instant you finish speaking, and never monitors other apps or other content on your screen. You can turn it off any time in system Settings; without it, dictations are copied to your clipboard instead so you can paste them yourself. Speakline is not an assistive tool for people with disabilities — the accessibility API is used solely as a text-input mechanism.
Speakline requires an Android device. A subscription is required for cloud transcription; basic on-device dictation remains available on supported devices.
