About this app

This app assists the aircraft airframe and powerplant (A&P) mechanic in determining common measurements in several subject matter areas. Source for formulas is FAA AC43-13b.

It is designed for students enrolled in an FAA Part 147 Maintenance Technician School. Instructors at such schools will also benefit from its use.

The app is the FULL version of the original A&P Toolbox. In addition to Sheet Metal and Weight/Balance sections, Basic Electricity, Aviation Science, and Unit Conversions sections have been added.

In addition, It has been formatted for phones with 5" screens or greater as well as 7" and 10" tablets. A 7" tablet is the ideal device.
