About this app

The Versatrans My Stop mobile app provides access to bus information and student ridership data. My Stop accesses GPS data and gives parents and guardians secure access to information on where their child’s school bus is and what time it is expected to be at their stop. My Stop also provides notifications when a student scans on or off the bus, or when the bus is late leaving the garage. School districts can also send mass notifications to all subscribed users to inform them of general information such as school delays and closings.

Versatrans My Stop is only available to families in school districts that use Versatrans to manage student transportation. Ask your district if they provide their parents with access to Versatrans My Stop.

Ratings and reviews

To call this an app is a stretch. It does not update location while looking at it. If you leave the app and come back, it drops to the login screen saying login error. You have to close and open it again. The ETA varies so wildly every time you look that you can't even really use it. Just this morning, the ETA changed by 5 minutes in 2 minutes of checking. The actual location of the bus is also around 5 minutes delayed. We would be better off not having it, this app is a safety concern with kids

Very confusing and unreliable compared with other school bus tracking apps I’ve used. It often shows buses that aren’t my child’s, and sometimes says the bus has already passed when it hasn’t even arrived. Arrival times also change dramatically—for example, showing 20 minutes away and then suddenly 5 minutes away a few minutes later. This makes it difficult to know when to go to the stop and creates unnecessary anxiety for parents. I hope the tracking accuracy can be greatly improved.

Update: this app just doesn't work majority of the time. Even the website provided by our school doesn't work. Great if/when it works. The problem is that it doesn't always work. It seems like there was an update recently due to a changed look within the app. Ever since then I've noticed that it says no student found half the time. Additionally, it's usually a bit behind on the actual ETA of the bus. By a few minutes.
