TymedIn helps parents wean kids off the phone. Not with a soft nudge or a notification they can swipe away, but with a clear warning before the daily limit, and a full-screen block when the limit hits.
The idea is gradual. Set a daily cap that reflects where your kid is today. Next week, lower it. The week after, lower it again. TymedIn enforces the cap so you do not have to be the bad guy every time the timer runs out.
WHAT IT DOES
- Pick the apps you want to manage. The rest of the phone stays unrestricted, so calls, maps, and homework apps keep working.
- Set a daily limit per app, the total time the app can be used across the day.
- Get a soft warning before the limit hits, with a countdown to the block.
- When the limit hits, TymedIn paints a block screen that stays up until the timer resets at midnight.
- Manage profiles. Keep separate settings for Default and Kids, or create your own. Switch profiles when you hand the phone to a different kid or want a stricter weekend setup.
- Tune the warning per profile. Dim the screen, lower the volume, block touches, or turn any of those off.
- Lock changes behind a parent password so the kid cannot just open Settings and turn the limit off.
PRIVACY
- Everything stays on the device. No account. No login. No cloud sync.
- The names of the apps you manage are never sent anywhere. Anonymous analytics only sees a hashed identifier, and only if you opt in.
- Crash reports go to Google's Firebase Crashlytics so we can fix bugs.

NO ADS, NO PURCHASES
TymedIn does not show ads or sell anything inside the app.
ACCESSIBILITY USAGE
TymedIn uses the Android Accessibility service to detect when one of your managed apps comes to the foreground, so it can start the timer and paint the warning or block at the right moment. The service only reads the package name of the foreground window. It does not read screen content, keystrokes, or anything from other apps. Nothing leaves your device.
LANGUAGES
English and Spanish.
WHO IT IS FOR
Parents who want screen-time limits that hold up against negotiation. Households trying to bring phone use back to something reasonable without going cold turkey overnight.
