I was looking for a private journal app and I came across this one. I immediately loved it. It's entirely offline, no cloud BS, no account required, can be password protected and unlocked with your biometrics, and its encrypted. You can add multiple entries per day, add entries for previous dates, tag each entry with custom tags to easily go back and find all entries with that tag, and much more. EDIT: Updated review to five stars for exceptional app support, bug fixes, and added features.

Beautifully made app. No bloat. Minimalist. Offline. Love it. My only suggestions would be: The template prompts should be editable, instead of having to delete and rewrite to correct. The template prompts should appear in bold in the journal entries. Allow for picking a colour theme, not just light/dark mode Anyway, thanks so much for making this!

I really enjoy using this app. Okay, I got the point to export to JSON and save it as a backup. Thanks! However, just a tiny feature request: please implement a headline for each entry. A single bold line headline option and a dedicated page where these headlines are only visible would allow me to navigate easily to any entry without a lot of scrolling through previous pages. Also, a filter option on previous entries so I could filter and search based on tags would be very helpful. Thank you 😘
