Ratings and reviews

This was the most frustrating self-guided tour app that I have ever used. First of all, whenever I was forced to take a detour from the assigned route due to road closures, it required my resetting the app to have it get me back to the tour. A few times it placed me in an endless loop due to the next featured site being on the stretch of road that was closed! The next turn information, on the top of the screen, would block the upcoming turns on the map, giving me no time to react. Horrible app!

From Bad to worse. There is a definite reason its a 3 star app. First I paid via PayPal and it never showed the app. then paid credit card it worked. Interface is unuable by driver. Navigation was circles and missed POI until we gave up. getting a refund even though I have sent them the transaction ID they cant fathom I paid twice and falsely claim in their response they refunded. I send screenshot to prove no they didnt. I tried being nice and patient but they keep lying. Write me for detail

They start talking about the site after you pass it. The directions get out of sync with the narrator and the only way to correct is to get out of it and then resume the tour. This is a pain when you're driving on busy city streets!! I almost ran over a cyclist!! I could only get it to display on phone, not car display screen.

What’s new

UCPlaces now supports Android Auto, allowing you to enjoy GPS-guided tours directly from your vehicle's dashboard with narration playing through your car speakers.

Note: Tours must be unlocked in the UCPlaces mobile app before they can be accessed through Android Auto.
