Umotu is a phone-first, non-custodial wallet and participation app. Your phone performs lightweight checks that help secure a public network. In return, eligible participants can earn daily rewards. Rewards are variable and not guaranteed.
For orientation only: at launch, Umotu is designed around a reference target of about $10/day per active participant, but actual rewards can be much lower (including pennies per day) or higher depending on participation and market conditions.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Create or import a self-custody wallet (you control the keys)
• Complete a quick human verification to reduce bots and duplicates
• Let your phone run lightweight Data Availability checks in the background
• View and claim rewards in supported stablecoins or UMT (where available)
• Send and receive payments with low fees
• Vote on community proposals in the governance tab
HOW REWARDS WORK
• Daily emissions are capped at up to 0.01% of the remaining pool (~3.65%/year max)
• Per-user rewards vary with the number of eligible participants and market conditions
• Sentinel (advanced) participants may also earn a share of network fees and bids (if enabled)
STABLECOINS (OPTIONAL)
• Stablecoins are issued by third parties and may have issuer-specific risks (e.g., depegs, freezes, redemption limits)
• Stablecoin support depends on what is available on the network and in your chosen wallet
DESIGNED FOR EVERYDAY USERS
• Simple onboarding with support for 32 languages
• Privacy by design: biometric templates are kept off-chain; you can request deletion anytime
• Export recovery phrase and private key for advanced users
