Finamp is a Jellyfin music player for Android and iOS. Its main feature is the ability to download songs for offline listening.

## Known Issues

This app is still a work in progress, and has some bugs/issues that haven't been fixed yet. Here is a list of currently known issues:

* Deleting large items (such as playlists) will cause the app to freeze for a few seconds
* Download indicators occasionally don't update

great jellyfin frontend, but it doesn't play when it's in the background. playing in background and playing when locked are pretty important. it also doesn't update the song in the playback notifications. you can't see what's playing or control the song from other apps or the locked screen. it used to work, but hasn't recently. the latest update from November 2024 still didn't correct the background playing.

Easy to use interface, and convenient offline playback with ability to download a full album or individual tracks. I use Chromecast frequently though and couldn't find a way to do that. Unfortunately the official so has Chromecast support but not usable offline playback.

Thank you for making and maintaining this app! The other Jellyfin apps I've tried are missing key features like local downloads and have sluggish UIs, but finamp is so fast. I also love that you can switch to offline mode at anytime My only complaint is the lack of syncing, but the author has stated they're working on sync already for a future update (whoot!). Again, thank you so much!
